Personally I wouldn't mind having a Kar98k, seems like a fun rifle to shoot for some reason.

This was an experimental assault rifle for the US Army's ACR trials back in the late 80s/early 90s.
The selling point was the use of flechette rounds. The weapon fired these at in a 3 rd. burst at 1800rpm, and the velocity of the flechettes was crazy high.

But is fires specialty ammo you won't find in the US. You can find it but it'd be harder and more expensive I guess.
