Author Topic: Monitor Wall Mount  (Read 3183 times)

I have Asus VX228H monitor and i want to mount it to something like this:

However on the back of the monitor there are no screw points or anything other than the plug-in ports. What I am looking for is something that has holders or grips that grip onto the edges of the monitor. if you have or know of such a thing your input is needed.

drill some screw holes in :^)

Something that won't destroy my monitor :)

No duck tape that's too ghetto

monitor cant do it. :D

Just duct tape it to a wall or put it on a shelf, better yet you could put it on the desk where it belongs.
What I'm saying is that if its not meant to be on a stand you should either make do with it or get a new monitor. I don't think theres a stand that fits your description. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If you put duct tape on right, you won't even have to see it

if you want to be super legit then buy some thick plastic to use as a mount and plastic weld it to the monitor

i would pop the monitor in half, and put screws out from the backside instead of screwing in toward the screen. then just held to the mount by nuts.
hell you can get get hardcore and make a backplate inside the monitor.

I agree with bisjac on that last post.. Seems to be the easiest and safest way to do things.

heads up: if it doesn't have screw holes in it the monitor probably isnt built to be held up by the plastic casing

i am using a non standard arm my housemate bro had around. so the 4 screws are bolted outward an inch because it wont rest flat tho the monitor lol.

I think you have the same keyboard as me, is it the Logitech K120?
