Figured I'd actually chime in with some medical advice.

You will basically be giving yourself a third degree burn. Third degree burns take away certain skin protections on that part of the body so your biggest risk is going to be an infection of the burn. It is absolutely imperative that you keep the burn clean until it heals up properly. Burn infections are no joke.

You also really need to know what metal you are going to use the brand. I was reading up on it and heard another danger is certain metals when heated will tend to flake off small shavings when heated. These shavings will get into the burn and can potentially give you metal poisoning in the blood.

Good luck I guess. It will hurt like hell until it burns all the nerves out. Oh and tell your friend to hold it steady, once it touches you your skin will literally melt away. If he isn't steady it could slide around.

You'll probably want to restrain yourself somehow. The brand will wobble and you might start jittering the forget out from the pain and it'll look like stuff. If you want to go for this kind of br00tal edgemaster stuff you might as well just go with scarification, it'll probably look the same but more precise. It's going to hurt a lot more than a cigarette burn most likely.

Use a good brand with good metal. Also this is a bad idea, but who am I to stop someone from attaining their dreams?

EDIT: Read through the thread. This is going to hurt SO much more than a needle. It's going to be pretty extreme deliberating pain throughout and after. Tattoos are lesser pain over a longer period of time. Have a good bit of ice cold water on standby.
