too sad :(

Theirs is the Glory (1946). It's half film and half documentary filmed after WWII with the soldiers who fought in (and survived) the Battle of Arnhem playing the roles of themselves. As far as I know the film does not contain any "professional" actors, only actual service men. Thanks to the fact that it was produced so soon after the war all of the hardware used in the film (firearms, vehicles, artillery pieces, etc.) is authentic hardware.

It's not the best film in the world but I personally like it. I don't know where you can get it these days but it has been uploaded to YouTube a few times, here's a link to one such upload; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDMj8k-Iiqs

I just realized I don't know any WWII movies

Band of Brothers is good
and a movie:The Longest Day

Saving Private Ryan, of course.
