Ok, here's what the actual deal is since OP is too lazy to loving read the article he posted. Last fiscal year's 4th quarter, more iOS phones sold than Android phones, by .1%. That doesn't mean that iOS has more market share than Android, that doesn't mean more phones are running iOS than Android in the U.S. That means that this quarter, more people bought iPhones than Android phones. Which isn't really that big of a surprise as the two new iPhones released in the fourth quarter of 2014.
