Holy stuff I love that movie. Go watch it

liked it to be a surprise
He died irl SURPRISE

HAHAHA YOU GUYS TOTALLY GOT ME THAT WAS GREAT.

From a cinematographic and acting sense, it's a great movie. The biggest issue behind it is that it just seems to serve as a piece of pro-war, anti-Iraqi propaganda.

Clint Eastwood said it was specifically anti-war. Serving as a line to say, "This is the stuff these men and women go through, and the burdens they bring back home. Mental and physical."

irl the guy was a scumbag who was quoted as his only regret being not killing more

the movie is just more 'shoot the sand monday' garbage

Well if it's the same quote that was used in the movie, it was regretting not shooting more to save more of his men.

if i recall correctly there was one instance in the book where he shot two men on a moped because they were planting an IED, later the ied they supposedly planted had "mysteriously vanished"
