Author Topic: Vaccines cause autism  (Read 3096 times)

well autism is kind of a new thing. its just some generic term we use now if a person is diagnosed with X amount of social disorders.
almost anyone could hit up a doctor and be diagnosed autistic just by chance lol.

what people are usually referring to is downs syndrome, or similar handicapation that is also found hand in hand with other social disorders.
that stuff prob been with humanity forever.

Why did I think that Gothboy77 was the one who posted this at first when I read only the title?

idk man, folks looking back are retroactively diagnosing famous this-or-thats with autism spectrum disorders.
then again, they're not exactly firsthand. the diagnosis just didn't exist at the time, but the traits have always been with us.
although it's fair to note that a false-positive autism diagnosis aint exactly unheard of, especially with how more broad the definition has gotten.

Lots of ignorance though, we got people who don't know geography worrying about overpopulation when they don't know that most of the overpopulation happens in places like Africa, India, and China.
yes im not the only one.... overpopulation in general is talked in a global context but global overpopulation is not a real thing or possible at any point in the near future. only reason these guys got overpopulation issues is because theyre cluttering by the billions in the same 1km radius area like a bunch of handicapped horny rabbits

then why do we even have high functioning autism in the first place

In my opinion, everybody technically has autism spectrum disorder to some extent. It is just more prevalent in some people above others and is worthy of diagnosis/treatment. On one end of the scale, you would have severe autism (severely handicapping, hard to treat or overcome, therapy required, etc). On the other end, it could theoretically keep going on to infinity going from slight autism to Asperger's Syndrome to slight Asperger's tendencies onward to the most "normal" person on the planet, of which there are none since "normal" is a completely subjective word.

This has been two minutes of philosophy with XR.

Well all a vaccine is, is a weakened form of a pre existing virus which is a attacked by the body and creates anti-bodies.

The same time we got people convinced vaccines might cause autism because of one sketchy piece of research. I believe things like ADHD, ADD, and Autism have always been with us since humans came into existence. Probably the only reason why we are noticing it more and more is because of the population increase in people. We also have other potential factors like radiation from electronics, pollution, etc.  Then we got people in Africa in believing that modern medicine is the work of the devil and things like ebola and measles are the work of evil spirits and white imperialists.

Measles looks like a chick repellent.

I believe the researcher who published the article allegedly linking vaccines to autism later admitted it was falsified and was stripped of any sort of scientific licensing and credibility.

The thing I don't get is how a parent can look at their child and thing "I'd rather risk you dying a horrible feverous death, than possibly be a bit autistic".
Especially when you consider things like Measles can cause Encephalitis, which in turn can cause seizures, personality changes, memory loss, epilepsy, and in 10% of cases, death.

Like, autism is pretty damn minor in comparison to almost anything else you could get in your life.

Calling it sketchy is extremely generous
It was proven to be completely fraudulent. The guy who wrote it was barred from practicing medicine in the UK

Betel had a lot of vaccines  :cookieMonster:
