isn't this more like them bringing Spider-Man into the Marvel universe, not the other way around?

>the world of The Avengers
Should be the MCU

The best news of this is that Spiderman in the MCU movies probably won't be portrayed by that cunt actor used in the Amazing Spiderman movies.

Spidey's always been in the Marvel universe.

What's wrong with Andrew Garfield? He's miles better than that guy in the older ones.

tobey mcguire had a better character tbh. spider man wasn't a handsome guy, he was a low self esteem kid.

use the spider man from the cartoons
best spiderman

Tobey Maguire was alright, IMO, but they just ended up with terrible writing for him in Spider-Man 3 and the plot was just crammed full with needless characters.
Which was a shame, because Sam Raimi did pretty decent work on his Spider-Man series. And it was a really successful film, as far as revenue goes.

When it comes to playing spiderman? Not by a long shot.

me and my friend used to argue about maguire vs. garfield. the new spider man, imo, doesn't really feel like spider man at all. he uses a web shooter. wasn't spider man bitten by a radioactive spider? the spider powers should come naturally, not from stuff like that.

Two different universes.
There's the Spectacular Spider-Man universe, which Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man was mostly based in, in which I believe he normally produces his own webbing naturally, and then there's the Amazing Spider-Man universe, which is Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man. I believe in his, he more commonly has to produce his own webbing from a web-shooter.

Depending on the telling of the Spider-Man story, he either can produce webbing naturally, can't produce it naturally and uses web-shooters, or used to produce it naturally but then lost the ability (sometimes linked to the spider that bit him dying) and replaced it with web-shooters.

But I might be wrong in which way round those are. I think there's been precedence for all 3 ways in the hundreds of different comic-book tellings.
