i'm sure it's already been said but this doesn't authorise ground forces

i'm sure it's already been said but this doesn't authorise ground forces

that would be preferable. its cheaper.

i dont know why ground or not makes any difference to people. its war. its $

Why does anyone think there will be a draft? We already have a gigantic armed forces population.

US debt - $18,085,826,074,242

The last thing we need is another war.

47% of that debt is owned by foreign investors.
As well, one of the highest issues with this debt is the government's support of social insurance. (which in 2013 cost the US $882 Billion.) So by your logic, to stop this debt, we must stop war, and also get rid of everyone over 65 because they are a liability.

Don't blindly bring up something to say "WAR IS BAD" when the national debt is hardly a reason for saying war is bad. You also forget that Congress knows the economy is a fictitious system. They will keep raising the debt ceiling because they can, and it won't effect them or the world as a whole.

The price the US pays for its military may be a bit over the top, but it is nowhere near the main cause of all the debt your nation holds. Nothing is. It's been amassed over years of being a country, and it's pretty normal for a country to be in debt at this point in time, because everyone owes everyone money.

I don't think they mean draft in the sense of drafting people
I think it's in the sense of the war authorization was drafted

Let's also not forget that war brings in revenue through American munitions factories.
Wait, how would that? What?

When are we going to get remote control soldiers?
Or we could just nuke the middle east, it would be so much easier.

Wait, how would that? What?

Oops I got stuck in my economics tangent. Disregard my statement.

because ground forces tend to suffer higher numbers of casualties which is something people tend to want to avoid

counter-terrorists win?

because ground forces tend to suffer higher numbers of casualties which is something people tend to want to avoid
When we send all these drones and airstrikes we kill innocent civilians also.

It'd be impossible to avoid deaths.
