OT:  What's the real issue here?  Rapid-fire is a mod that is available publicly.  Even when I use it, if players complain, I point them to it so that they could have a better chance should combat arrive.  However, you would be limited to hammers.

But really, if you're banning for using RF on a printer you better have a damn good reason for it.  Like the most threat it can be is annoying.

RF shouldn't be bannable regardless, since it is a mod that anyone can download and use off of the many RTB Archive mirrors.  Like really I fail to see the big deal here.  The chat even looks like it was very liberally trimmed, which seems to be more a concern.

1 — I don't believe in fault for those who don't have Add-Ons.  Even if the Add-On were not publicly available, I would share it upon request.  If people complain about it, I'll generally offer them the Add-On.

2 — That's completely a matter of opinion.  If you have the asset available to everyone and it is something that a lot of people have, then it is simply on you if you choose to get butthurt over it.  Either get beat by 'em or join 'em.

3 — Then I will link them to a tutorial or lead them through the process however I can.  Seriously, I mean it.  If someone finds themselves at a technical disadvantage that they cannot overcome, I will do my best to level the playing field.

4 — If they don't want to download the Add-On, they don't have to.  It's a matter of choice.

5 — Have you ever used auto-wrench with RF mod?  I have.  To anyone who does heavy event work, this is an invaluable tool.  It makes it no less fair.

The mod gave people an unfair advantage by allowing people to kill people fast with the hammer as well as repair things faster with the printer.

Therefore we said people couldn't use it until we patched it, which we did.

What will that solve, why are you arguing about this honestly, it's dumb that you think "Oh if i give the addon it won't make it unfair". That's like saying a server host isn't a badmin because it's his server, yes it's his server but doesn't excuse what he has done.

Well I think that it's dumb that you think that a mod that has both utilitarian and combat uses is all bad.  Like I said before:  It's a matter of opinion.

Suppose you give someone a gun, and someone else a knife, and you have them battle starting 100 feet away in plain sight.  Obviously the person with the gun will win.  Now offer the person who had the knife the gun to give them a second chance.  Will you shame the guy if he gives up his knife for "surrendering his honor?"

So instead of not using it you would go through all the trouble to help them get the addon for them to maybe not use it?

No it's not.  If they opt out of it, they made a conscious choice to be at a disadvantage.  If you willingly chopped off your own healthy and fully-functioning legs, it is in poor taste to complain about your circumstances.

You said to try to justify it.  RF mod can be used in a beneficial way to eventers and those trying to change effects on bricks with auto-wrench.  I did exactly what you asked.

In addition, the RF mod can be used in hammer form to remove spam in a more efficient manner.  When making large builds, the use of the RF mod with printer can be used to re-texture trickier pieces of terrain in a more effective manner.
