There are a lot of non-adjectives in this thread, but this one in particular was interesting because I don't actually know if I'm right or not.

Well would "to be" be the verb, in which case "seems" is an adverb, which I have once heard is a technical adjective.

Somewhat, I'm in Vietnam now after meeting with my parents for a few days, they had a mix up with their hotel and they offered me 5 days here free as compensation :D
