it sounds sort of like this except the clicks arent going off every second, its mostly occasional and its a lot more feint. is this a bad thing?

When I had a tower running XP it made that sound too. iirc someone told me something about "Bad heads" in my hard drive. It could just be something harmless like something against the fan or something like that

Also the radiation meter is called a Geiger counter.

i thought bad heads was a repeating same pattern...
