why is Gun. capitalized like that
because little do these people know, Gun. is actually a person

I put ideals in quotes because what you referred to aren't actually ideals. You came into the thread guns 'a blazing (no pun intended) about something you barely know anything about, and like I said, you're arrogant enough to not change your stance. You aren't trying to debate, you're just trying to be right.
I know that if there is a massive rebellion it will be controlled in whatever way possible. Before you get all fussy, no, I doubt there would be a rebellion large enough to force the gorvernment to take actions that drastic.

I'm not exactly a history buff but I at least know of a few civil wars enough to get a general idea of what would happen if one happened in modern-day america.
You have the future at your fingertips.

Also, Ike, are you from Ireland or the US

I'm American, but my close relatives are Irish.

We are more concerned with firearms falling into the wrong hands and we need to do that without restricting responsible gun buyers

but who was NRA

In my opinion the biggest threat to the 2nd amendment isn't the so called libturds, hippies, or anti-gun crowd. It's these starfishs

These guys who go around to every street corner to protest the government with big signs saying how much they love their gun. People look at as if they were a danger to themselves. They make the responsible owners look bad. Same with those guys walking around with an AR-15, they just make themselves out to be starfishs and ruin the image of everyone else. They are like those guys that run around naked at a gay pride parade demanding social acceptance.

Then you have all those guys who fail to practice fire arm safety or common sense. Remember the UZI kid? Maybe if the range officer thought "Hmm, this kid is too small to handle that thing. Sorry, you aren't allowed to fire that thing". What could go wrong they thought, well unfortunately it didn't go his way. Plus people let the adrenaline get to them that they jump on instinct without thinking. There was girl sneaking out at night, a dad who was a police officer heard her fumbling around in the garage. The dad thought she was a burglar, ended up shooting here and then realized that he had just shot his own daughter. I think she ended up living because the dad quickly drove her to the hospital, if she does live she is going to have some health complications for the rest of her life. Maybe if he asked questions before shooting that wouldn't have happened.

Guns aren't sold like bread on a shelf. You have to go through a waiting period which consists of a criminal background check. You have to 18 years or older to purchase a rifle or shotgun, and 21 to purchase a handgun. If you have any felonies, dishonorably discharged from the military, have a restraining order, love offender, you cannot own a fire arm.

I bought a Mosin Nagant the other day and it took 10 minutes

Where do you even live

I wouldn't let my son fire a rifle until he's in his mid teens

Yes. Rifles with detachable magazines and a pistol grip have to limited to 10rounds with a bullet button. Handgun are also limited to a certain capacity. You practicality have to become your own lawyer. Rifles are also banned by name here. For example If I wanted to buy an AK, if the Rifle had AK47/AKM/AK74/Norinco/Ish mash stamped on it would be illegal to own. Yet I can buy a knock off ak and fine. If I wanted an FN Fal, that would be illegal because it has Fabrique Nationale stamped onto it. Yet if I buy a British L1A1 I am fine.

The California Grizzly bear, the largest of it kind. They've been extinct since 1920s.

Ridiclious, it's like the ruger has become the new colt, by government standards. I don't have a problem with any of those models as long as they're semi-auto, and we don't really need extended clips unless we're tactical shooting but I'm not planning on joining the military, would you prefer it more than 10 rounds or is it sufficent

Who the hell hunts a grizzly bear to extinction. That's very recent

Do you think the government should find all registered gun owners and take their guns away?
Like, what would be your way of making them illegal?
idk. and I don't really care how it's done. how is that important?

If you wan't to disarm a nation you're going to have to be swift and brutal

as long as you know you don't

Well it goes back to the gold rush days. Hunting grizzlies was a Mexican tradition where they'd lasso them and was done as rite of passage. However they rarely killed them. When the Gold Miners came, people heard stories of large bears taller than the average bear. They ended up getting demonized like sharks and people hunted them for sport and fur. Since they are part of our history we put the Grizzly bear on our flag.

Full auto is useless anyway. The military rarely uses the full auto setting on their rifles because it wastes ammo and you aren't likely to hit anything at a distance. Full auto is mostly reserved for full auto machine guns, even then they are only doing short bursts to conserve ammo.

I'd say the AR15 has gained more popularity because you build one that is cheaper and more effective than a Mini-14. I like the way the mini-14 looks, its just that its a bit overpriced.

Politics wise I try to keep a balance between liberal and conservative.
