well, got any point in favor of not going to school that's not "muh freedom!!" ?

yeah we get chucks like you who walks into a room like they own the place then does something because of systemic education failing modern society

No, I'm wondering what's there to debate. Education should be mandatory everywhere, otherwise you will create a community of useless thugs that can't do any work and will cause trouble out of boredom.

do you know what a debate is

Can you kindly shut the forget up, or get the forget out then?

One more thing to add before the subject change is that I hate General Education in college so much. The point of college is to study to specialize in a field or trade. Yet these schools require it to get your degree to transfer. They say it is to make you a well rounded person, but in my opinion that is bullstuff statement to cover of the fact that they want more money from the students pockets. Then when students run out, they turn to the banks to get a loan which adds more to their debt. All that money and labor spent for piece of paper that allegedly allows you to enter a high paying field only to end up with more expenses than you previously had.

on a similar subject, do you guys think they should start teaching students to speak other languages earlier in life rather than during highschool?

It helps to start younger, but tbh there are more important things like maths, English and science to be taught than to concentrate on other languages...

Maybe they can teach one other language, that should be ok

Yes definitely all Canadians are primitive and us USAians can colonize the north and be able to drive to Alaska.

what a stupid thing to debate about

spanish would likely dominate the language list more than anything else
I tend to hear it spoken just about every single day

mandatory public school works out in that at the highschool level, an opportunity to drop out exists (not the best option)
