Some may disagree with that, but I personally find the English language pleasant for its technical aspects.

Esparanto is an official "world language" so to speak. Like no one knows it but it is taught in many European countries. My grandma learned it in the 50s in Sweden.

Also, English is the global language... the global language of aviation. If a pilot flies internationally, they must speak English to the ATC. If they are flying within their own country, however, they do not.

it is already kind of
but no if we had a global language it would probably be Chinese because more people use it compared to any other language
Chinese (going to assume you're referring to Mandarin specifically but that's another point) is only spoken in China and like one or two other countries
English is spoken everywhere

English has a stuff ton of grammar rules, mostly because of the fact that "hurr english is superior therefore we must make it complicated as forget to communicate so we sound smarter".

English may not be the easiest to learn but it is quite a wonderful language nonetheless.
I'd say I wouldn't be sad if it was the global language

english actually is the easiest language (of importance) to get into because of its insanely easily conjugation and it has simple pronunciation (no handicapped aveolar trills) and cases but it's hard to be fluent in
also it's the best language for songs because it has no set rhythm based off of accents or set sound (like spanish) and has lots of synonyms for words

I think it's going to happen no matter what.
