Author Topic: So, I've had a fun time dealing with comcast  (Read 1752 times)

except that time when they told our family that they would install the internet stuff today
and they didnt come by
so we called them like "wtf where are your men" and they were like "lol yeah we'll come tomorrow"
and they did it again tomorrow
lol
once we made a tech appointment
At the end of their time window they weren't here, so we called, they said they don't have any appointments listed for us.
So we made another
they never showed up for that
Again, we called and said we didn't have any appointments listed
so we made another
the problem stopped happening, so we called to cancel the appointment
they told us we didn't have any appointments listed

If Internet Neutrality actually becomes a thing, Comcast will get forgeted so hard. And I like it.

Why do you have Comcast in the first place?

Everybody knows that they give literally 0 stuffs about their customers whatsoever.

That reminds me of that one South Park episode, which details this really well.

net neutrality has nothing to do with this subject

speedtest shows download and upload speed higher than it is supposed to

a new update, still happening. They decided to change our plan and cancel our appointment right after they got the service working. So we've been on the phone with them for over an hour yelling at them to the point of finding an alternative service. Which there is none, we have Comcast and AT&T which I don't ever want to get near them. They're now going on about how we owe them extra money and yet we don't. We've never said a god damn thing about changing our internet. These people are loving mental.

i pay $70 a month for this

comcast is alright for me lol
i pay $140 a month for this

i honestly have no problems with comcast
except that time when they told our family that they would install the internet stuff today

so we called them like "wtf where are your men" and they were like "lol yeah we'll come tomorrow"
and they did it again tomorrow

lol we pay $114 for this:

^^ thats just on wi-fi on the other side of the house ^^

but we got new cable boxes and none of the channels worked for a week, and they didn't know how to turn them on x_x
and when they got all that working, my Digital converter still didn't have some channels, so we called back, and the guy said he would call back in 45 minutes......... It's been 5 days.

When we first signed up with Comcast when moving to my current location, they canceled our plan a month later because we never got equipment from them so they thought we weren't using it.
We were using our own equipment.
Which should have been noted on our account because we had to spend like 10 minutes explaining "no, we don't want to pay to rent your equipment, we have our own already"

So we had to sign back up, and didn't get the same new customer intro rates that we should have had for 5 more months under our plan they canceled

They're  currently charging us $1/month for a cable card that their own site says is at no charge, but I don't feel like dealing with them for $1

IP location really doesn't matter lol
Is that $200 internet bundled with anything else?
