Author Topic: Suave Zouaves Megathread | Non related vid: Me and Enholli play games  (Read 2046 times)

Why make a mega thread about your own channel?

Well, to put it plainly, I'm tired of making a new topic every time we make a new game review or let's play or whatever, so I decided to just do this.

The Suave Zouaves is a channel I started four years ago with my friend Dylan King, and we've been making videos on and off about games for some time. Most recently, we've started a new Let's Play series that was inspired by the likes of Game Grumps and I wanted to share that with you all.

Suave Zouaves' Split Screen

What's this? - Basically it's the same format of the ever popular Game Grumps, but isn't a direct rip-off, because it's all just LP's and frankly I don't even remember who the first LPer was, so technically we're all copying off of whoever that was.

My thought process was, besides the Grumps, there aren't really any LPers on Youtube that are truly dedicated to old school console games. Pew Dee Pie, Markiplier, whoever else is popular, they all play modern PC games for the most part, I wanted to distance myself from that because everybody does that. There needs to be more old console games being played because reliving those childhood memories is a blast.

New episodes Mon-Fri garenteed.

Classic Game Reviews

What's this? - The title pretty much says it all. Technically, we've been around old school reviews since way before the Angry Video Game Nerd, he's just who made them popular. That and Dylan's Brother, and ancient relic of the internet days who never did make it big, used to trade games through the mail with his internet friend James Rolfe. Aka the Nerd. So we've got seniority rights here.

What's this? - Classic Let's Plays of PC games. Some of these are rather popular for some reason. No I haven't done Blockland. On this channel anyway.

Advertise like a shameless whore, Swholli. :)

Anyways, I'll have to check you guys out. Are you think of doing any older PC games along side the console games?

Absolutely. We're already thinking of doing the first Deus Ex game.

Plus, don't be afraid to think older. We've got DOS capabilities (as in, actual computers that run DOS, not just DOSBox lol).

Ah, Deus Ex could be fun. I'll get back to you on any suggestions, can't think of any right now.

play theme park: rollercoaster on PS2.
you mentioned it, now you have to play it.

apparently shatner can't attend his funeral

Yeah I heard about that.

I think that's a bit sad, but then we don't know his reasons for not going. It might just be too hard on him.

Also, as a side note, I'm only going to update this thread whenever a new game series is uploaded, instead of each consecutive episode.

hey, you should play lemmings on DOS
