Author Topic: Pivot animations, post your animations here.  (Read 8395 times)

I spent an hour on an animation in T0 and it crashed
 :panda:
Oh damn; Apologies.

Did you manage to get the error that popped up? I knew the program was unstable, but it shouldn't be crashing in general use..

Well, it appears Pivot Animator be a virus.

Avast! picked up, Chrome picked it up, so that kinda proves it.

Get Stykz if you're desparate.

pivot oh my god my friend and i used to do this in like 8th grade for our media productions class

my school used this as an actual tool for learning the basics of animation, so i'm like 99% positive it's a false positive

Pivot nor Tisfat are viruses in any way. If you have the actual version then it is guaranteed to be a false positive. Nobody can properly vouch for the many sites that offer downloads though.

i understand the concern though

chrome freaks out and a bright red screen usually tips someone off... but nahhhhh it's okay just click details and click "visit this site" and it'll take you past it

also, i was about to ask what tisfat was, but then i saw Evar's program and i'm honestly impressed, that animation is fluid

Thanks.

Guys, quick FYI; The issue that chrome is giving you is because the exe is unsigned. This means that it was created without a certificate. The reason T0 was created without a certificate is because to get one you have to pay like $1,000 or so and it only lasts 1 year. I don't have the money for that.

To solve this issue, once I have time to refactor a few things in the project I'll create a proper .msi installer for T0, and your browsers shouldn't be yelling at you anymore.

The problem is getting the time to do that; I have a full time job now (programming, of course).

just doing random stuff...

Thanks.

avast! is getting mad over it though, saying it's Win32:/Malware-gen

or whatever definition it is

I think he jumped too high to catch that one...

TS0 is pretty swell. I would love to see it continued - the kinematic and tweening features alone make me want to use it 10x more than Pivot or Stykz. Keep it up. ;)

Looks really good, make more please

Dude, your software is awesome. I have a suggestion, though: Make it possible to lock joints so that when you want to move an arm or leg, the whole body doesn't move around, that kind of pissed me off at first. Other than that, it's completely awesome :)
