Author Topic: what color is this dress - MYSTERY SOLVED ITS BLUE AND BLACK SEE LAST POST  (Read 15139 times)

yeah the lighting in the picture is bad so my conclusion is that it's blue and a dark muddish black/brown
a muddish black/brown would look practically nothing like that in that type of lighting as far as i know
i literally see no black on here. the white is a bluish tint though

why are you getting color palettes from the shadow
are you dumb

can you prove the retina explanation is real tho?
i cant find anything that blatantly says it's not, and plus all the other evidence i have in that post so... yeah it's blue and black(ish. brown gold mud diarrhea whatever) in bad lighting

because your eyes are stuff look at the picture with professional lighting got damn

oh my god this is hilarious
I'm doing my calc homework and I hear from the lounge someone shouts "No it's BLUE AND GREEN"
and I'm like "Oh forget, watch as they're talking about the dress."
They're talking about the dress.
Thanks to this thread I put that argument to rest.

I see a white and gold dress in the foreground and a black and white dress in the background.

one last time im gonna link y'all to why it's blue and black

yet to see white and golders with proof of any kind :^)

And if you see both of them within a few minutes?
Holy stuff I'm seeing both now as well.

i'm pretty sure that means your eyes are adjusting and seeing it the right way over time. people with more stronk eyes see it as it is immediately

I've stared at this image for a minute straight and it's obviously gold and white

about that retina stuff, multiple people asked for sources about that and you keep saying

"lmao i found it on the internet too bad no source for you or an actual explanation from an actual website but hey the guy that put this in a comment section is true i know it :^)"
lol i dont have a source somebody posted it but it's blue and black you hoe

also with the amazon page, I see a white-gold-black combination in color options, but I can see the black and blue perfectly on the store image.

It's more like brown and light blue. If the gold-looking stuff was ever black, it's been extremely faded.
Like really. Using the color picker tool you can clearly see it's a gold-ish brown and a light blue.

Two main colors of the dress as pictured (not as in the original product)

i can see the possibility of there being a blue, but in no way black, or maybe a light brown but i'm seeing gold.

on this, it's pretty possible whoever made it could've just chosen the darkest shade of gold/light brown, as I can see some of that on the edges of the patterns

it also seems like you just discard anything people say about it being white and gold, instead using stuff like the unsourced retina thing, or just repeatedly making jokes about it and ignoring everything people are saying. That, or just quoting somebody else's image as if it were definite proof, and using that a couple times before going on for another.

looking at the blindingly brilliant whitespace in the image itself, it looks to me like the image was overexposed. kinda hard to say of course.

i swear to god it changed colour

i could not see blue at all in the image when i first looked and now it's very clearly blue what is this madness
