I'm going to try something here, bear with me. Focus on the first image for a few minutes. See what it looks like to you. Then focus on the second one for a few minutes. See what it looks like to you.

It's all about the perception, and whether you think the dress is in the light or in the shadow. Turning your lights on or off may produce similar results.

Anyway, since we found a black and blue color scheme but not a white and gold color scheme in the e-store, I'm inclined to believe that the actual color scheme is black and blue and that the original image is horriffically overexposed.
No matter what I do I only see white and gold. Like a lightly blue tinted white, like from natural light from a window. But how the ungoldly forget is that brown seen as black?
because the image is really really overexposed.
