Author Topic: RE: What color is this dress?  (Read 6946 times)

I swear the dress changed colors since I last saw it

It's white and gold you stupid stuffs

It's not computer screens portraying the image wrong, it's the stuff exposure and lighting of the original photo that screw everything you know and love up.
I'm well aware. The point I'm making is that people keep discussing variables which are irrelevant. It should be fairly obvious based on the giant sun-streak that the image's colours are not correct.

So you're blaming other people talking about something on your willingness to keep looking at what they're saying?
It's not my "willingness" to look at what they're saying. I'm trying to scroll through on news about Leonard Nimoy, my college (since I have a bunch of college friends who are posting a lot about timetables, instructions to get to the new building etc) and some Australian news stuff, and I keep seeing this dress bullstuff get in the way.

ok with this makes much more sense than kimon's "if u see white and gold ur eyes are bad!!" theory

Only when I zoom out the photo do I just see a tad of blue and black, but it's still mostly white and gold for me 100% of the time regardless. Let's see if that changes eventually.

Black and blue, just like the face of anybody who says it's white and gold.

It's black and yellow.
black and yellow
black and yellow
black and yellow

I'll be honest here, the dress hasn't changed color for me not even once. I've even stared at the image for  minutes and I've only seen it be black and blue. I'm not entirely sure why all these people keep coming in and saying that it just changed for them suddenly.
I'm confused where people are actually seeing white and gold in the picture.

the blue can look light enough that people assume it may actually be white. The black is some sort of warm toned black that can look brown-gold. just check the viddy f3d3d3d3 posted.

i hate myself for loving continuing this convo. its really simple and dumb and deserves a miniscule fraction of attention that its garnered.

If you see it as blue and black there is something wrong with you or your monitor.

You see, when it's blue and black it's because when you were at the age of 5 years or younger, at least one of your three parents ingested a stale crouton, which brings adverse effects to one's vision. These side effects were then transferred through telepathy to your brain, which causes you to see a dress as blue and black, when it's really blue and black.
