Author Topic: RE: What color is this dress?  (Read 6977 times)

the thread itself is asking what color the dress is, not "what does this dress look like in this photo only"
But by giving us only the photo and nothing else, you are saying that.

The question is what color is the dress and the dress I see is white and gold, silly.
doesnt mean you're right. like how in denial are you right now?

This isn't an insult, but it's for my own research.

Can you take this and tell me your results?:

I'm not colorblind, I've tested before.

I'm not in denial, silly. I'm just sayin it like it is.

You gave us one photo and asked what color the dress was. You were asking "what does the dress look like in this photo only".

I'm not colorblind, I've tested before.
But like, the pixels in that image are clearly blue. Like, what makes you think that the dress itself is white?

i made this for a reason. the actual dress is blue and black, no matter how white or gold it looks in the photo.

again, let me stress that just because you see white and gold in a low-quality photo does not mean that is the color of the dress

if you're talking about my topic, let me repeat myself again since you clearly missed it the first time.

If it is a cloudy day outside white things can get a blue-ish hue to them.

Wars are being raged over this dress

But like, the pixels in that image are clearly blue. Like, what makes you think that the dress itself is white?

Okay, the true colors of that image dress is lavender and poop. But using deductive reasoning to light sources and room color, the dress is white and gold.

the internet has erupted into a civil war

Well, we know now that it was actually a blue and black dress. But why would any natural lighting make a white dress /that/ blue? Maybe I just don't get out enough?

Looks like the gold soldiers are winning

are you guys just being ignorant to the fact that the dress is blue and black just to forget with me? whats going on here

Any kind of natural lighting through a window can easily create a blue tint on something white. I'd find a representation of that with a photo I took myself, but my computer is off right now and I'm going to bed soon.
