The people approaching you to translate for them arrived under a week ago, and know nothing about your character's history other than "He can speak Huit and is on our side". Now revised to "allegedly" on our side.

You're right, we did choose to do that. And it was a direct result of Guerra's utterly handicapped attempt at negotiations. Sorry, there are consequences for your actions now! Better keep that in mind in the future instead of blaming the DM for your character's disability you yourself decided to give them, maybe actually hold some accountability for yourself. Not saying that Guerra can't be overly-stressed, but Jesus man what line of thought would he even follow to think anything he spoke was a good idea.

Guerra, after drifting in and out of sleep in his bird, decides he needs some practice. He checks the HUD - no ordnance, but she's got her countermeasures.

He opens the hangar door, taxis to the runway, and takes off, tower clearance be damned. He hits the afterburners on the runway and doesn't turn them off when he's in the air.

Speaking from my own perspective, I wasn't pissed when this happened, just a little miffed. To be perfectly honest I think Special Flakesnow McBrownie's actions were entirely fitting for his character. Regardless of whether they were fitting or not, Guerra made the wrong decision in that scenario, and as a result, had adverse effects against him. This isn't a "You did the right thing but you couldn't win" situation. You made a bad decision and the rest of the squadron is hurt as a result, and most likely, the character will be discharged, executed, or thrown straight back into slavery.

I hear a jet on the runway and i see an unauthorized takeoff taking place. It's JUNKERS. I run out there to the side and pull out my gun. Firing it wildly at his craft.

The bullets mostly pinged or imbedded themselves into non vitals. I keep firing anway long after he's in the air.
