Bell strafes G3 with her rockets and guns, ordering her remaining drone to open up on G1.
"I'll continue providing air support with Hawkeye, the rest of you need to at least stall the enemy air wing."

Yet more of the jungle is leveled by the drone's bomb, and your gun/rocket run cripples the other emplacements.

"Who the hell is this guy?" I say as I fire the afterburners and climb into the clouds.

I punch the throttle and engage afterburners. The aircraft rockets skyward.

You both gain altitude as the enemy planes dive on the beach.

Walt begins to fly around to the side or flank of the entering aircraft, waiting for them to enter the area of support from his squad.

The enemy planes are now in the area of support and you are in a prime position to capitalize on any target of your choosing.

While everyone else has been distracted with bantz, the Shikra leads the charge, opening fire with its Ultra-Autocannons and heavy rocket pods and sending sand, wreckage, and body parts sky high. The Jags follow their squad leader in and provide some supporting fire, while the Morgenstern and Rafale hang back to provide overwatch for their ground attack team.

I look. It's still offline. Maybe it doesn't come online on its own? The data links are online but new information has yet to be sent it. ESAM has contacted the other drones. I send them in on the Rafale, and begin a dive on the Morgenstern.

"I'm making my run on the Morgenstern, the drones are attacking the Rafale. Get on those ground attack aircraft now!"

Fear and exhilaration build up in my chest. My throttle hand becomes shaky. I hold my breath and gain speed.

I try to see if I can get on one of the jags tails without getting ripped to shreds first.

I throttle down, roll over and nose down, shooting out of the clouds as I line up an HSM shot on a Jag or two.

Eklund responds to the drones with an HSM and an extended burst of cannonfire. The missile destroys the processing unit of the lead drone, and the second drone responds with a pair of its own heatseekers, forcing the Rafale to take evasive action.

"I'm making my run on the Morgenstern, the drones are attacking the Rafale. Get on those ground attack aircraft now!"

The Morgenstern notices your approach and structural integrity and casts its glance your way, and with it comes a lock warning from its MMS-20.

"Oh no."
I try to see if I can get on one of the jags tails without getting ripped to shreds first.

While the Rafale and Morgenstern are engaging different targets, they are still able to warn their teammates.
: Ansell, Miller, look out! Their Rafale is trying to make a move on you!
: Like hell he is. All-right, kid, point that turret skyward and keep an eye out for the bogey, if you got a clean shot take him out with the LBX. Careful not to hit Eklund though.

The VTOL launches its last missile and begins hauling ass, trying to get out of the combat area.

I head after the Rafale - not worried about the cumbersome morgenstern which I can handle after.

I fire off a HSM along with aimed bursts of LCP

The Rafale evades your missile along with one of the drone's, but takes some damage from the pulse laser.
