"Forgive me for superseding you Geary. Gus, squadron, abort resupply, do-loving-NOT give up the AWACS' position. I'm sure that those guys would love nothing more than an AWACS kill. AWACS, I strongly advise you leave, and do not allow anyone to slow you down. Squadron, we are leaving,"

Jaakko sweats as anxiousness eats him alive.

"AWACs, I need a resupply, if you can manage." Gus flies towards it as fast as the PAK FA can manage.

"What the hell is that?!"
I change course towards AWACS, jettison my armament, and follow Gus.

The Sabre banks and heads in the same direction as the PAK FA and Razorback, towards the AWACS.

"-copy. Splitting," Jaakko reports.

The hostile flight pursues Mjolnir as they begin flying back towards the AWACS, and is in fact gaining on them ever so slightly. There is simply not enough time for everyone who needs one to be able to resupply. One person, sure. Two, you are cutting it very close, and putting the AWACS at serious risk as well. I implore you to very carefully decide your next moves, because if people get careless, things will get very ugly, very fast. Please, for the love of every god in your pantheon, consider every alternative before making a decision. If you feel lost, just ask me what's going on and I can give a breakdown of what metaphorical cards are currently on the table.

It would give away its existence, but not its position. The Huits would have to find its position themselves. With visuals only. At night. While they still have to cover the radar site. You don't get to become Sky Marshal by going on wild goose chases and ignoring your primary objective to pad your kill count.

I change course and rendezvous with the AWACS, jettisoning my payload to ensure I can escape safely.
"There's nothing more I can do here, boys. Good luck."

forget, I made another bad call.

Richard breaks off from AWACS and returns along the egress route.

"If you guys think you can escape safely, you're cleared to egress. AWACS, we're not making out of this one alive without some form of electronic support. Razorback flight is down  whatever's chasing us brought them down in one go, and all of their fighters are faster than ours. I don't know how fast the big aircraft can travel, but we can't allow it to get to us."

I punch the throttle, not activating my burners, and get back to base as fast as I can.
