Depends. If my hair is short, typically a brush.

Right now, my hair is really long. If I use a brush it looks weird, and a most combs just get stuck. So I use a realllly wide tooth comb (basically a pick) to pick my hair into an afro. :)

I only have a comb, but I would prefer a brush, because I have a thick head of hair, and while the comb sort of styles it, it doesn't really do enough.

Comb, because brushes get covered in gross hair and stuff. And also they're bulkier.
