Ok ever since like last week the ping for my server is now just --- and no one can join my server. I asked my friend to join and he said it just said "connecting to ip: XXX XXX XXX XXX (X as in the ip of coarse). But it is so annoying I have no idea what heppened cause i got some new add ons the other day and I was thinking maybe those did it but i just dont know which ones. But anyways if you guys have any idea of what to do I would really appreciate it, thanks!

it seems like everyone is having this problem

Welcome to the club.

uh oh, i hope the master server isn't down? I'm not sure how this works though.

The problem is most likely that the UPnP is not working correctly for your routers. The solution is to port-forward properly and disable UPnP.

Doesn't IPV6 make port forwarding obsolete?

UPnP Doesn't even show up for new Routers, and I'm pretty sure you don't need to port forward with IPV6.

Well I already have disabled upnp and yet it still doesn't work and Ali the port forward link is handicapped so that hasn't really worked. The thing that is weird is that I didn't even do anything and suddenly my servers don't work!

IPv6 doesn't have anything to do with this. If/when IPv6 finally becomes mandatory (it really needs to), Blockland will likely no longer work since it's networking engine was never upgraded to support it (or so most of us think).

Well that's really bad, I don't think Badspot could work his magic to get IPV6 support in Blockland though... not with our current engine.

Many ISPs don't even support IPv6 at all. I know this firsthand, my own ISP (MTS, a popular Canadian ISP) does not support it at all. Quite disheartening if you ask me.

Check the console by pressing the "~" key. If you find an addon(s) in red text it's a problem. You should either disable them or take them out of your Blockland folder entirely. One time Support_Updater wouldn't let me connect to blockland and another
case was when something called physics death or whatever would always crash my server when someone dies.

this doesn't affect anything with connections to servers

Ok thanks I'll just try that for now.

Ok i tried all that I can and it still is not working XD

well that's where having an open-source engine comes in handy again
