Ping is suddenly ---

For no reason my ping is suddenly --- when i host, UPnP does nothing, Port forwarding is outdated, at least on my server.

It might also be your firewall if you have one. I've had instances where my firewall silently blocked game connections.

If you have a firewall, try turning it off or set Blockland to be a trusted connection.

and my firewall is being managed by Norton so that may be it.

Try looking at your router firewall. My router will sometimes randomly block games from using UPnP, but it usually goes back to normal after a few hours.

If they're reasoning was something along the lines of making the computer more vunerable to evil viruses, they're a bit wrong.

It's harmless when done in normal circumstances.

Something you can try is to restart your router by unplugging it, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging it back in. Then start your BL server. (UPnP should also be enabled on the server - there's no reason to turn it off)
