yes, its possible to force a remote restart even if your not using the computer yourself without using RATs

happened to me while playing cookie legend's server
I was asking the host a question and a wild bluescreen appeared
I turned my PC off by power button (The bluescreen wasn't split second)
The PC instantly restarted, nothing on monitor (Happens sometimes, I move along by trying again and restarting)
after atleast 5 minutes or 10 minutes it started working fine with monitor working aswell

i can't even get a scan to work properly. it crashes everytime it reaches the Filesystem.

did you try turning it off and  back on again

Just buy a new computer

someone with that kind of processor is much more likely to be overclocking, and overclocking runs the risk of having this happen to your computer

its not overclocked.

I did a system restore and its still rebooting. Does that eliminate the possibility of it being a RAT?

no. if it is a rat, it will still remain in there.

I reset my computer entirely. So far no problems with reboots, however, my graphics card isn't being recognized

it could be an overheating problem
check your computer for any damaged components

no overheating. I checked before I reset it. All components were at nominal temps (90F-110F)
