yeah, i figured it was just messy infrastructure or something, but i've never worked with sprites so it never even occurred to me that they'd all have to be redrawn

kinda like in fallout 1 where certain followers couldn't use certain weapons because they never had sprites for that character to hold that weapon err yeah
