actuall i planned on going on forums and watching youtube

And that will murder the battery in the process but it's better than your beautiful new Apple logo wallpaper.
problem being is it has a full charge and i intended on using it before bed
sacrifices must be made sometimes. better to try to fix it than whine about it and shell out $100+ on a new one.

If possible, let it discharge until it no longer turns on without being plugged in. Having it drain the battery entirely will shave off months of lifetime.

I remember when I got expensive technology for my birthday..

Are you kidding me?! My parents are poor.

The most expensive thing i ever got was a 12GB ps3.

So giving advice to save the battery isn't being helpful at all?

It just restarted all on its own

it flashed white then went back to the apple logo

so I tried what it said to do on the apple sight to reset

Saw that title.

Would laugh if this topic was authored by someone else.

i'm giving him advice on how to try to save his ipod. i'd rather save a device that i care about than bitch and whine about how it might hurt the battery.
