Author Topic: Worth the difference  (Read 2185 times)

Do you guys think its worth replacing a GTX 660TI with a GTX 960 or would I get a better return with another 660TI and SLI them.

My budget is $200, this is why I am choosing one or the other (I can live with paying another $25-50 for taxes, shipping, whateva)
No, don't suggest me to get AMD

better off with getting a 970. youre gonna get nowhere with 2GB of video ram

GTX 960's will run you around $210-$250 depending on which version you want. A bit over your budget yes? nvm

I mean the 660TI is 2GB and I am fully able to play almost all games on Ultra at 1080p, its more than enough.

how do people notice the fps above 60?
I can barelly notice a difference over 30.

Also, nearly all monitors have a maximum framerate of 60 FPS. Some high-end ones have up to 120, but even then it's hard to notice a difference.

The only real time you'll notice a difference is in high-motion scenes

Ill be honest, the difference is really subtle when watching those two.

To see the difference you really have to be the one playing.
