To keep idiots from posting comments in topics that are 4 years old.

Posting a reply to a topic moves it to the top of the forum, so it was put in place to keep dumbasses from reviving topics that nobody else wants to talk about anymore.

Most people I know that pirate games do it to see if it's worth the money. If it's broken they obviously aren't going to buy it, so telling the Dev to fix something so that they'll buy the game isn't a bad thing.

By your standard, I should be allowed to pirate a game and if its not broken, then pay it? Sounds more like a Alpha/Beta

Also, I specified those 3 games for a reason and its not cause they suck, google it and tell me what you get.
