Well, that seems an annoyingly long time to have a nosebleed for.
But not necessarily dangerously so.
If it is common though, you should get your doctor to check it out, just to be safe.
It might be that cauterisation of the blood vessels near the surface inside your nose would prevent further bleeding.

I had a nosebleed the other night, but it only lasted maybe 30 seconds. Happened while I was in bed. I couldn't breathe properly because my nose was blocked, so I gave it a little tweak and a shake and one of the nostrils started bleeding.
And it was dark and I didn't realise until I felt it on my hands, and then ended up with drops of blood on my bedsheets duvet, so they've gotta be washed now.
By the time I got out of bed and into the bathroom it had pretty much ended.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves playing with my own blood in the bathroom when im bleeding lol

I had a day-long robotics competition last year, didn't drink enough water and I was running around the school helping out. By the end of the night my nose was so dry that just rubbing it caused it to start bleeding. Went to the gym bathroom and it literally bled like this, for 5-10 minutes. I was getting to the point where I was considering calling my dad to pick me up instead of driving myself home because I was getting light headed and stuff.

Then it stopped and there was blood everywhere.

I took first aid as well, I've always learned to pinch.

Freek's mind was in the gutter for a long time

That is actually a large amount of blood for a nosebleed.

then it will dry up in my nose and/or go down my throat
It drying in your nose is the point. It is called clotting, that is how bleeding stops. It going down your throat though isn't good, while not dangerous it can make your stomach very upset.

No thats a stupid idea, if you keep the blood in place it can dry and clot and stuff from what I remember
How is that a stupid idea? It drying and clotting is what stops the bleeding. Please do not comment medical advice on subjects you don't know about.

You filled up the entire sink? How are you still alive?
It looks like he filled the sink up with water and the blood diluted into it, making the water red. That isn't all blood. That's just unheard of.

And I'm an EMT. Yes, that is what he wants. Their is a huge difference between a blood clot in an artery traveling to your heart, which is what I feel you are thinking of, and blood clotting to stop a wound from bleeding. Clotting is the bodies natural response to bleeding control.

It might be that cauterisation of the blood vessels near the surface inside your nose would prevent further bleeding.
This is good advice.

Basically, it could just be from low humidity drying out your nose making it more prone to bleeding. Or, as sir dooble said, you may have a large blood vessel which may need attention from a doctor. They will cauterize it and that should help to prevent further bleeds such as this.
