Author Topic: Open Code Server  (Read 3980 times)

Essentially, an Open Code server is where everyone has near-direct access to the server's console via eval!  It's exactly as abusive as it sounds; don't build anything you can't bear to lose here!

Unlike these guys, I won't ban you for crashing the server - it's inevitable and unavoidable!  Plus I have a program that just automatically restarts the server when it crashes.

Come make craziness and insanity happen!

Credits to Ipqµarx for having no life finding probably all the default functions which expose eval in an exploitable manner!

I rate this server 10/10 for non-totaltarian restrictions and having no exploits unlike the other server

is anything blocked or is it all avaliable?

There are certain things which are blocked, but not things that you should need to mess with unless you're getting into malicious territory anyway.  :P

having no exploits
did you just say that
you didn't just say that

That's really neat. I was thinking about hosting one and making one of those, but it looks like you already have one! How do you make it restart if someone hangs blockland with an infinite loop though? What's the detection mechanism?

Sounds like people are fetching ideas off of Joseph Rae's old server

with an infinite loop though?

*find a variable syntax here*"The end of Pi";

I believe it's a pinging mechanism
if the external program doesn't get a ping within a certain amount of time it restarts

That's super clever

i think i crashed the server
oops

Yeah kill(); does that.
Didn't know that actually. I thought it was going to kill everyone.
