Author Topic: Integrated Graphics Upgrade  (Read 2134 times)

I was thinking about getting a new gpu for my birthday, so I looked inside my computer to see if I had a PCIE card slot  in my motherboard. I saw that I didn't so how am I going to upgrade my GPU now? Am I able to use an adapter and use it as it is external?

1. PC Megathread, we sort out your stuff.
2. What motherboard do you have?

mobo must be oooold

Does it have PCI-E x1?
If not it surely has PCI, which you can still get floating around.

Looks like he's SOL.
Unless you want to buy a new motherboard along with a GPU.

Another problem is that I looked inside my computer case and couldn't locate the power supply, yes I know it's a box but all I saw was the CD drive, HDD, Fan, and Motherboard.

Here's a pic I took last night

Can't take anymore pictures, sorry. Also sorry if it's too bright.

How do you think your computer is getting power?

I honestly don't know

um
Follow where it's plugged in from.

It would appear that the power supply is mounted to the top of the case.

Does the back look like one of these?
