There's no process, it randomly occurs during games. After classes I'll load something up and see if it happens again.

upon googling this like the genius i am there were several threads with the same issue posted and you see most were stating that they were using avg and it was fixed when removing it because it is a bug because avg is actually a virus.

I don't get pop-ups from AVG, except for the very rare news ones, like when they notified users about Shellshock and stuff.

Anyways, it didn't happen during a half an hour session of Mount and Blade, so either Chrome or this weird mouse setting seemed to be the issue.
