Author Topic: The Arena - Omega base  (Read 3201 times)

im working on a build im calling "The Arena" for team DM. it will consist of two bases (alpha and omega) at each end and some buildings and fun stuff in the middle.

im pretty much finished with the Omega base, so i decided to post pictures of it. its rather simple, but its the biggest thing ive done since i bought blockland for myself for christmas. :) when its done, it will have the Alpha base opposite, and lots of scenery and fun stuff. hehe.

go ahead and rate if you like, and constructive criticism is appreciated. flaming will simply be ignored. :)

by the way, its made for Slate, and the pictures are taken in Ladio's various Slate edits. :) epic.

The inside is conveniently provided with directing arrows for help, and multiple, amply stocked weapons rooms. :)

i like it!the outside is detailed enough to make people happy, although the inside could be filled up with other stuff than weapon platforms. still nice though.

the control room with big, fun, particly goodness contains the spawning points and alot of pretty but useless buttons and stuff.

the observatory, at the very top of the tower, is great for checking out the movement of your enemies over the battlefield, or for viewing distant, unknown planets.

thank you, didnt expect to get a nice post on the first shot.

i think the outside is just a little bit bland, but a put those bands of ramps and layers of colours for extra flavour. i like the way it turned out anyway.

yes, there are some more things inside, but i dont really know what else to put...

it looks kinda bland but still efficient,
very much like the colors and layout and such
id say, dispite the simplicity, this is about an 8/10

wow, thank you very much ^_^  i was going for a sortof space/high-tech-facility sort of feel, so the simplicity of the design is somewhat intentional.

when i was building it, my sister said "it looks like some kind of giant gym or something"... haha

and by the way, 6 out of that 8 was thanks to your backgrounds! ;)

I like the particly goodness =]

The "bubble" and color scheme reminds me of some of the older lego sets. Nice.

thank you. lol. its a big cage of wiggly, transparent bricks and it has spawning points inside. its cool because since emitters dont show up through transparent bricks, from the inside, you cant see any of the red laser particles. :D hehe i just thought it was cool. ^_^

ooooh, yes, the classic 'space' sets. i loved those, i had some when i was a kid, and dreamed about the rest. lol. i know what you mean about the 'bubble' part. i think that shape was inspired by the lego brick of a similar shape. :) i one of my favourite bricks.
