Buy the RFB for the tactical silencer

useful? how the forget else do you keep some british starfish from taxing you?!
um tarring and feathering duh

Lol animal cruelty so fune
To be fair, he just put it out of its misery, unlike the guy who shot it in its leg for no reason.
But then he did start that sentence with "That reminds me, lol", so, I suppose maybe it doesn't make a difference.

It was shot in the leg and was gonna die sooner or later. All I did was put it out of its misery.

It depends on what you want. Do you want the satisfaction of a powerful bolt action rifle or do you want a loud obnoxious assault rifle that is semi auto.

Personally I would get the M1A

Don't get the PS90, 5.7mm is not very common and what you can get is usually expensive. I'd lean towards the 5.45, You can buy the ammo in large canisters containing 500 or so rounds for about $100 but you said ammo doesn't matter.

Get the M1A, I love shooting M14 styled rifles and I'm fairly decent in accuracy with them, I'm assuming it is standard 7.62x51mm?

Here is my suggestion, Get an AR-10. It is basically the bigger, cooler brother of the AR-15 and it shoots 7.62 instead of 5.56

5.7x28 isn't that bad. Its a cross between 9mm and .223.
And yes, 5.45 is where its at. That's 21 cents per round. Imagine doing this for only like 15 dollars.

I like semi-autos more than bolt actions.

Quick question

Do you plan on shooting up a school of having a hostage situation?

Jeez I would buy a desktop kit for that
For shooting up a school I would go for the Kel-Tek RFB or the FNH PS-90, as they're easier to control and their short barrels are better for CQB. Be warned though, OP, as children are known to be able to take several 5.56 or similar sized rounds before going down. (If the children are on drugs they can take up to 15.)

If you're not going to be shooting up a school, I would personally choose the M1A or AES-10b because they have a much more classy feel to them than the modern plastic sort of thing does. If you were looking for something with close the functionality of the M1A but with the character and stories of an old WW2 vet, you could look at some of the CMP's M1 Garands. They're heavier than the M1As are, but I'm operating under the assumption that you're a man and not a teenage girl. Either way, I would make sure it's not something that you're going to want to sell any time soon.

Anything that shoots .308/30-06 is probably your best best. Very satisfying to shoot and the ammo is relatively cheap and very easy to find.

I love how everybody here is just goign towards the tacticool, I suggested the AR-10 because I love them.

Another Suggestion, SKS ( Assuming you don't have one...)

Ammo is, once again, cheap and the rifle itself is fairly cheap. At a recent gunshow I saw a guy who sold nothing but SKS and SKS modifications, the prices ranged from $400 to $2,000 depending if they were stock or "Tacticool" models ( Polymer stock, pistol grip, Detachable magazine, Pincanny rails, etc ) I know you own a Mosin so you're probably used to the recoil of 7.62, of course mosins are 7.62x54r and SKS's are 7.62x39 so recoil you can handle

Are you looking for handguns or any other area of firearms or just rifles because if you're lookign at handguns too I'd suggest the Colt 1991, expensive like colt but quality.

I love how everybody here is just goign towards the tacticool,

what

Majority of us are choosing the one that is the furthest from being tacticool that is supplied on his list. I mean, why the forget would you even need the Kel Tec, ACR, or the p90 besides being a gun enthusiast with money or an edgy teenager with money.

I will say the most comfortable shooting handgun ive ever fired has got to be the XD .45 Service Model

just get dual pistols

My kind of SKS if I bought one B)

Mosin recoil isn't even all that bad. I don't know if I was using smaller loads, or if it was my buttstock extender, but recoils not all that bad.
7.62 is very manageable. If you watch the video I posted on this thread earlier, it may look tough, but really it feels like a .22.
Super easy and fun to shoot.
