Really, all you need is

a decent amount of bricks and items along with events but this is a given with most add-ons

Let me attempt to help you out. Uh...

Tc572's Power Beam - Chargeable! (by Tc572, uploaded by HellsHero w/ permission) - a fixed and improved version of a weapon included in an old addon of Tc's. It should work on the current BL version - I tried it in singleplayer and it works fine.
Hatmod, because hats.

Anyone else have any ideas for add-ons? I got nothing else, except maybe Slayer but this server seems to be a freebuild, so...

Slightly off-topic: I remember seeing an add-on that had a bunch of 1x2f bricks that had sections cut out of them, for making crosswalks etc. I forgot what they were called though, but if I did I'd suggest them to OP.
