My friend and I are going to DIDNEYLAN together, and we were talking about what to do until the point came up about which seat in a rollercoaster ride is more enjoyable. I said front, I've always ridden them in the front, and my few experiences in the back sucked. But my friend said that the back was better.
He claimed the back seat went faster, which I counter struck with stating that the carts are stuck together so none would go faster.
Then he brought up that on an upslope to downslope the back cart would still be on the upslope whilst the front cart would be on the downslope, not making any momentum as the last cart would still be hanging back on the upslope. But what rollercoaster has an immidiate downslope after an upslope?

So, which seat is better, BLf? Front or back?

I can't see any way in any universe where an attached cart will go faster than its leading cart.
Also front, more air and you see the coaster rather than someones head.

Be at the front.

That way, if you happen to vomit, you're only going to get it on other people and possibly yourself.
Whereas if you're at the back, someone else might vomit and you get it on you, and you don't get to vomit on anyone else at all!

If Rollercoaster Tycoon has taught me anything it's that people go to Rollercoaster Parks solely to vomit

Bringing this back up because I want to prove my friend wrong through the way of peer pressure.

Being an adrenaline junkie and living 15 minutes from a six flags, being in the front gives you an "open" feeling" where you can see everything.

The back of the car is more of a thrill, as when you're going over a hill, you get whipped over, because the front of the kart is falling, while you're still somewhat going up, therefore, going "faster" in that particular area. You feel like you're being pushed if you're sitting in the front, in this situation.

For the ride enjoyment, go in the front, (though, the line might be a LOT longer) for thrill and being whipped around, go in the back.

Personally I enjoy the back more.

sit in the front to be able to see
sit in the back to get whipped over dives/be bumpier (in my experience)

being off the rollercoaster is most enjoyable

the back is the best. i don't really care about the view, i just want it to be fun. i don't really get the same weightless feeling in the front as i do in the back, and the back feels faster.

As I have Acrophobia very badly I can confirm

I personally prefer the teacups, because there's no front or back and I don't believe in making decisions.

Neither. I don't go on roller coasters. Survival instinct

why disneyland when you can go to Knott's, or Six Flags, or even ADVENTURE CITY!

You made a decision on what cup to go on. Also to go on at all.

Seriously though forget teacups, nothing about them is enjoyable.

because i cant yell DIDNEYLAN when i arrive

If the rollercoaster isn't like a wooden rollercoaster where the trains have a front then the back seat is more fun. The whip over the hill is awesome. If it's open in the front then the front is the best. Though I rarely go for the front seat because the line sucks so hard.
