From what I've seen, 'tards are attracted to you because you've replied to almost every single comment in this thread. In addition, you seem to take criticism with a negative bend, and make up excuses or explanations rather than seeing what people think and running with it. I myself am not a very good detail builder, so when people give me suggestions about detail I try and work with it. It takes a real man to admit when he's wrong; it takes a successful man to admit when he's wrong, and work with it.
In terms of the build, I actually appreciate what you're trying to do, since the parthenon is a very simple, austere building without a ton of detail. However the Greeks were also the masters of proportion, and that's where the detail comes in. Unfortunately a lot of that stuff is impossible to do in blockland (like the slight taper on the columns) which is why pretty much all parthenon builds fail to one degree or another. Still, if you nail the height-width-depth ratios I think this build will turn out a lot better.
