ok ive been playing blockland for maybe three days and i have some ?'s and need some help.
I HAVE VISTA!!!<---Which sucks very harshly.
1gb or ram and 120 gb of hard drive this is also a laptop computer.
first, is an error i have with the game

1) Space does jump and right click jets BUT for some odd reason Space jets too which i know isnt supposed to hppen

2) Everytime I play a game (on some servers this usually happens not all) i gt the little lag message and it doesn't go away... i cant move, place bricks, paint, or use tools but i can open my menu, my brick menu, paint menu, and tool menu. Usually i log out and then i log back in and it happens again.

Second, are errors on the forums

1) the sites that have kool downloads that i want i cant accsess or are ripoff sites
for some reason shortyshorts.bj-ways.net or whatever it was takes me to a YOU WON A PSP SITE or BUY A PSP CHEAP. Do you know why this is happening?

2) Some pics wont load

Last are problems with my comp

1)i got the winrar thing and i try to put the rars and zips in programfiles/blockland but it either says "we tried to unzip it to #name of the rar or zip here#/blockland but the path doesnt exist". I NEVER ASKED IT TO SEND IT THERE!!! so i look over it more looked that i didn't click a wrong button and it wont work now (i got it cause i couldn't unload .rar and now it pandaed up my computer and it wont work)(zips used to work without winrar but now they don't!) (STUPID WINRAR!). The other thing it would do is it would say acsess is denied. (my comp wont let me delete winrar either)

sry for double post but this section doesnt have edit....

ive been searching for two days but i can't find a good gokart...

refer to the problems above because most of the stuff i found was on ninge111 or bj-ways stuff so plz give me a direct download or sometin if you can. (also i couldn't extract the dragster, DDkart, or mariokart cause of winrar.)(everything here is mostly .rar and .zip) thank you greatly winrar for messing up my computer

(sry for being a noob what is uac? does it have to do with the virus proptection or firewall or niether?)

Disable 'Use Jump/Jet Combo' in Options>Controls

Can you host your own?

bjwaymods has closed. You'll notice that the topics with bjwaymods links are on page 5 or so. Sometimes in the topic people have posted alternate links, but don't bump the topic (post in old ones) from pages past 1 or 2. If you want a site with a collection of mods, try my website.

Install Blockland to your home directory: Users/Name/Blockland. That will solve file permission issues. Uninstall Winrar and install 7zip for RAR: stabler, no wait before extract and doesn't take over your computer.

UAC is User Account Control, which is about the only thing which protects your PC from the many bugs and viruses Windows has.

Of course it does. Microsoft may be evil, but UAC at least makes all programs require administrative privilidges for some functions like editing system directories and the registry, installing programs, etc.
Turning it off is like giving root access to all users on a *nix system: you just don't.

so i the UAC thing the thing that always pops up when i want to do somtin...
it is very annoying and there are no other users on my comp so should I turn it off

(if so how?)

No, you should NOT turn off UAC. It's equivalent to letting every malware program on your computer do what it wants.

If you don't want the popups, use an actually secure OS (not Windows).

By popups i dont mean like "OMG YOU WON A PSP! ZOMG!!! CLICK HERE AND WILL GIVE YOU ONE FREE*

not like those popups but like security popups that ask me over and over again if i really actualy want to move a file, rename a folder, or delete something.
The security popups that are part of the windows security.

Is that what you meant by popups?

User Account Control just asks for your permission when something will install, move, copy, renamed, delete or whatever, ESPECIALLY when you do anything in the hard drive where Vista is in.

It does protect you against malware in some ways, like if a virus is trying to install something or change something in the Windows folder, it'll tell you "Do you want ______ to _______?"

Windows IS a good OS in security. The only reason no one makes any malware for Macs is because 1. Nobody uses them. 2. People are already suffering enough from Macs.

1)I reinstalled winrar and made it so it didn't handle .zip's and now .zip's work fine. .rars still don't. My sister got winrar on her computer and it works fine. She has XP i have Vista. Can either someone help me with the problem or suggest a new software that can handle .rar.� (Please no suggestions on dissableing my UAC otherwise my dad would get mad)
