Looks pretty good to me.

Kyrev accepts Noaste terms and incorporates it as the "Noastadt State", allowing them to self-govern in all but significant, nation-wide issues.

Kyrev would like to take the southeastern half of Tacz as a semi-autonomous state in Kyrev like Noaste, if UEK agrees to allow us to take half.

Also I got a PM regarding labeling what cities are what within the State.  If you would like to do this, you will have to do nation-wide maps for yourself in your own nation post.

the UEK's proposal in how the land should be split is represented by the slightly wavy line cutting through what was once tacz land

also, i added my towns in this picture. you can just ignore the two-pixel \ marks if you dont like the idea but they represent settlements

Will UEK annex or declare a puppet state.

annex the government controlling the northern town and annex the government controlling the southwestern town

declare the now defunct capital a protectorate which may be legally be annexed at the UEK's government's request

the UEK, entering peacetime, sends all surviving conscripts back home and begins focusing on mending its internal strength. however, several monuments and statues enter construction to honour the fallen.

attempts to improve relations with Obalei are also pursued, although cautiously. we did just exit a war that we started-- for land, after all-- with them.

Kyrevan conscripts are returned home as the formal peacetime army helps secure previously Noastadt and Taczowa territory. Formal government is established in Taczowa territory, including as many previous tribal leaders as possible. Relief supplies such as food and blankets are sent to these regions.

Today, König Friedrich III passed away peacefully in his sleep. His reign was characterized by great internal stability, economic growth, and the First War of Expansion, which he won. A national week of mourning is declared. His son, Lothair I, succeeds him. He is known to be a thoughtful and generous man, and his first order of business is to establish workers' benefits in all Kyrevan industry.

Ruslan Stoika publishes Working World in observance of the many economies in the world. He elaborates upon the working conditions, mechanisms, advantages, and disadvantages of these economies. In the second volume, he postulates that while Vlast's economy is up to par with the rest of the world's, the workers' living conditions are not.

The Duma passes the Domestic Industry Protection Act, much to the disdain of Stoika.

After a number of failed attempts to unionize due to hostile conditions, the Federal Labor Party is formed, it functions partly as a union and partly as a political party to protect workers. The party takes a particularly liberal view to capitalism.

On the Duma floor now is the Homeland Protection Act. An act that will create the Orgburo Internal Troops, a collection of militiamen that will bolster military power when fighting on the home front. Estimates come back that there are roughly two to three million eligible men. Enlistment is not mandatory, but it is highly encouraged.

-Blessed Espovos-
Considering my culture is significantly influenced by yours, would you consider protecting my nation in exchange for goods?

One year to elections. The Federal Labor Party puts up it's candidate, Boresław Kolar. A second political party is formed by the end of 1803, the Capitalist's Workers Party. The CWP has been criticized for being a "false party", set up by business owners, and used to force worker's political power towards a capitalist agenda. The party is about a third of the size the FLP, but carries the same political clout because of the wealth and resources behind it.

The Women's Political Lobby is formed. It campaigns for women's rights such as voting and labor.

Ruslan Stoika's Working World leaves great effects in the FLP. The Federal Labor Party forms a caucus, based on Stoika's principle of Market Socialism and State Capitalism. This sub-party minority is known as the Mensheviks.

Another small political party forms, with roughly seven to ten thousand card-carrying members. It is the Communist Party of Vlast. Stoika's laments about planned economies hasn't stopped this tiny minority.

Guys, the Communist Manifesto didn't happen until 1848...

Guys, the Communist Manifesto didn't happen until 1848...

It isn't necessarily the Communist Manifesto. Communism, as an idea, did exist before it. Working World isn't supposed to be a Communist Manifesto, but more of a wealth of nations.

quoting wikipedia, but uh

"The origins of communism are debatable, and there are various historical groups, as well as theorists, whose beliefs have been subsequently described as communist. German philosopher Karl Marx saw primitive communism as the original, hunter-gatherer state of humankind from which it arose. For Marx, only after humanity was capable of producing surplus, did private property develop. The idea of a classless society first emerged in Ancient Greece."

im not really supporting either of you guys in this debate, just leaving this tidbit of info

It's not really that.  I'm more or less referring to thousands of years of a autocratic and aristocratic status quo.  A republic would already be very radical.  While the concepts surrounding socialist systems began as early as the publishing of Utopia in the sixteenth century by scholars in Europe, however, to those in power, this would be seen as dangerous to their rule and their legacy, so therefore it seems unlikely that socialism would be even a prominent idea at this time.
