Teleri diplomats receive word from the area of conflict that it will accept becoming a Teleri province rather than face war.  This is followed by a brief clash between hardliner forces and a convoy of Teleri frigates, during which two frigates are sunk, but the hardliners are dealt a deathblow.  Following this, the province falls into line.  Teleri bureaucrats move in to assimilate the province into the Teleri system.

Telar accepts its invitation into DIMA.

A Teleri botanist and chemist extracts morphine from opium poppies grown on the islands to Telar's Southeast.

Following a spurt of national pride throughout Telar (less so in the new province), Parliament decides to fund a national conservatory and opera house in Königstadt.

With increased federal revenue from increased international trade, the national head tax is reduced to its former level.  Trade begins to go farther and farther afield, as far as Drulland and Genera, with Teleri goods, bringing back all kinds of goodies, especially gold.

"In some cases, a federation is created from a union of political entities, which are either independent, or dependent territories of another sovereign entity (most commonly a colonial power)."

It doesn't matter who coined the term, I used the brown townogy and then linked an article about a federated state. I would have hoped that my meaning would have been pretty clear, but maybe not. I mentioned at least twice exactly what I had intended for Noastadt and Taczowa to become, and as soon as it gets fixed and I take the land as my own, I get sweeping protests, while the UEK, who did the exact same thing, gets nothing? That's a bloody joke, man. I didn't intend this to even be roleplayed or this difficult to understand, I just wanted extra names and borders removed because it didn't look as good as a solid border would.

They're mad about this:

2.  The Noaste request application as a puppet state to Kyrev following the defeat of their navy [. . .] rather than annexation in order to preserve their culture and most of their inner workings, but give up their rights to autonomy and partial self-governance.  Their ideal, however, would be to be independent and just keep their lands.
Looks pretty good to me.

Kyrev accepts Noaste terms and incorporates it as the "Noastadt State", allowing them to self-govern in all but significant, nation-wide issues.

Kyrev would like to take the southeastern half of Tacz as a semi-autonomous state in Kyrev like Noaste, if UEK agrees to allow us to take half.

You promised them puppet statehood, and only later mentioned that you meant a different entity.  I could have dictated the results of the War of 1802, but I proposed solutions and gave you the choice to agree or disagree, to which you chose to agree.  Federated statehood means fewer rights, and means that the motherland government has almost complete control.  In the case of the Tacz territory, the region suffered from a severe economic failure.  Independence would be less of a concern, when in fact, they might recognize the more secure rule and economy coming to them as a solution to their economic problems.

It is moreso Noastadt that is complaining.  The Tacz expected wild changes since their proud army was destroyed, and their economy took a turn for the worst.

The Dudal War ends, with the conditional surrender of the tiny state. The conditions are; citizens of Dudal will be guaranteed the same freedoms as the rest of the Vlastcovites, and in addition, the member states of the confederation will be allowed limited self rule. Prime Minister Kolar puts forth a short term executive plan to rebuild the state.

Over two years, Federal forces have suffered 3,000 casualties.

veteran ex-conscripts are recruited into the military in response to them having issues reintegrating into society

8 60-gun ships enter construction, and the kyrevan military is merged with the UEK's as it would be a waste to disband it

the UEK begins expanding the northeastern border of Kyrev

tribally controlled areas conflicting with the northeastern expansion are offered to become protectorates, but to recognize the UEK as their governing state

if they initially refuse, gunboat policy

if they still refuse, affordable bribe

if they STILL refuse, despite the large military and bribes both pressuring them, just crush and annex

What.  Where did it start?

What.  Where did it start?

The Dudal Confederation fails to respond to Vlast's offer. Twenty-five regiments, three heavy cavalry troops, four light cavalry troops, and ten howitzer batteries advance across the border and move towards the capital of the small confederation.
Now being in the coalition together, Astura sends whatever troops they can spare to aid the assault on the Dudal Confederation that neighbours us

Ah.  Well didn't notice.  It's yours, I guess, but these people are unruly.  Hope you can put up with them.

it's also part astura. they agreed to split the land 50/50

forces stationed in Noastadt are instructed to claim the coastal land between Genera and Noastadt.

Okay.

Noaste forces invade the region and after a few victorious battles, capture the region with a toll of only 643 dead.

hey uh just to be clear, this is the unclaimed chunk between the two nations. i'm not attacking genera

im not sure if you interpreted that way and im not sure if this battle was against genera, but if it was-- no

oh man I really need to catch up. Sorry I've been super busy.

Doven accepts the DIMA invitation.

Doven also will (if possible), go with Burellis on their sea expedition.

I got that.  The only thing is that Genera wanted the land and is a bit upset, but they're not going to make a fuss over it.

Burellis is glad that Doven will be following along.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

the UEK offers genera a position as a semi-protectorate under the UEK, in which its military is still separate from the UEK's but needs the UEK's approval to attack or start a war

if genera accepts, they will gain the recently claimed land

gunboat diplomacy is also used here

They agree, under the condition that if they find some diplomatic position unfavorable, that they can withdraw from the protectorateship after a minimum of 20 years, but in doing so, is obligated to a nonaggression pact with UEK and its allies for 20 years following any split.
