Half of the land goes to Austra.

The Duma narrowly passes a bill to help fund enterprises that will rebuild Dudal.

States that make up Dudal are made Semi-Autonomous Federal Districts.

More happenings:

  • Seemingly out of nowhere, König Lothair I issues a statement to parliament that the nation best be handed over to the UEK, following a meeting with an Elmic diplomat.  He notes of "indescribable ruin and shame" that might descend upon the nation if this were not to happen.  As he announced in parliament, the usually confident, calm and collected man was pale, sweating, often wiping his brow with a cloth, and at times, visibly shaking.  Parliament accepts this request, and Kyrev and its territories are signed over to the Elmic Kingdoms.
  • The map has been edited.  If you see any errors, report it here.
  • Following the Dudal War after soldiers are sent in to occupy the land, assaults on the occupying force become common.  Upwind of forces en route, fires burning large quantities of hemlock are lit, causing toxins to drift toward the hostile forces.
    • (Don't see how you were able to just lose 3,000 men and win in a few years based on the description of the type of people you'd be up against.)

The UEK asks Vlast if it would like support dealing with the Dudal confederation.

Also... would you happen to be willing to sell this parcel of land?

-snip-
Naturally, I am inclined to go anywhere my father nation does, we will need to request Espovon's permission for such a decision, even though they are already apart of the treaty.

Kansakoya puts in request to Espovon to also join the Devewin Inter-Maritime Alliance

you were already invited

It would be cool if there was some kind of software that allowed for easy map edits with brush tools and stuff.

Vlast takes the UEK up on its offer, and requests military advisors, and is not willing to sell its Eastern territory at this time.

In the notable incident, called the "Hemlock Smoke," as many as 1,500 men are poisoned, about one-hundred fifty fall dead within an hour. Another fifty die by the end of the day, and about thirty after that. The rest are put out of action anywhere from a couple of days to several weeks. Boresław Kolar declares martial law in the Semiautonomous Federal Districts of Dudal. Serveral more regiments are diverted in effort to stabilize the region.

A proposal comes to the Duma to classify the action as an act of war, and send federal troops to quell the rebellion. The Prime Minister, under advisory of Dima Kos, denounces this action, and states that sending in Federal Troops will only further damage the stability of the region. The CWP pushes hard on the proposal, noting the loss in industrial and business assets in the region. Dima Kos comments that the proposal is a gross overstepping of the Duma's power to wage war.

The Prime Minister sends a political envoy to Dudal to communicate and discuss courses of action.

I said strategic point of view. Swat, I apologise as well, I neglected to look at Dudal's statistics. Sorry.

Vlast takes the UEK up on its offer, and requests military advisors.

30 Counts are sent to Vlast, each leading their own divisions of 100 Soldats and 125 light infantry units. These Counts are the requested advisors, and their divisions are intended to assist in constructing defenses.

If requested, the UEK will send in offensive battalions.

MEANWHILE

The UEK appoints Leopold II, a Kyrevan Duke, to oversee Kyrev.

Kyrev's military becomes partially separate from the UEK's again, although they both operate under the same banner, and are both obligated to come rushing to the aid of the other. If needed.

Duke Leopold II's first order of business is to send 8 5,000 man regiments of Fähnrich to Vlast as well as several dozen howitzers under General Von Loewe.

Also, regarding the northern territory of Kyrev;

Lothair I proposes they buy the land and the Lower and Upper Parliament agree. While a large sum, they feel that it will repay itself, as the land there is valuable and fertile. The sum is traded with the locals, and surveyors chart the land and establish borders while civilians move to establish settlements.

While an envoy from Vlast tries to reach the Vlastcovite Office heading the East Dudal prefecture, a mine is triggered by a man riding on horseback in vanguard of the heavily-guarded convoy.  As a result, a good number of the horses are spooked, causing a state of confusion.  Suddenly, a group of savages fires arrows, hidden in the underbrush and some upper parts of surrounding trees.  It is not likely that the party will survive.

The Convoy is routed. Very few survivors return to the nearest post. Regional Command takes note, and sends word to the capital.

As per Kolar's executive order, the foreign aid is stopped before they enter the SAFD Dudal.

Look at the map.  It's updated to the latest edition unless I missed something.  If it's off, you can use the report feature.

stuff, they only have bows? topsmen could guard the convoys and laugh as the arrows fail to penetrate their plate armor

in fact, the counts in Vlast advise exactly this

they also devise a scouting system, where there are 4 horsemen riding about 100 meters ahead of the main convoy, and 100 meters behind the main convoy, to scout for ambushes.

he meant actual settlements, not just ownership of the land

edit: stuff i haven't made a double post in a while

oh well

 mistakes are mistakes, i guess
