this melee legion playthrough isn't going so well

melee isn't very interesting, I can't seem to sneak up on anyone with 40 sneak and light armor, and I hate the legion

i think that that was one of the worst sins that bethesda ever committed - they didn't give obsidian enough time to fully flesh out the legion. there was a much larger quest line in the works for the legion that would flesh out their philosophy and their history, and give us an image of what their side of the dam looked like. i mean, it wouldn't change the fact that they're a bunch of tribal, misogynistic fascists, but it would be much more interesting (and much more worth it to do a play through as them) than what's currently in the game.

The lack of anything interesting about them is definitely part of it, but it's also because I'm almost incapable of doing anything evil in a video game

caesar or lanius (i can't remember which) literally calls women sub-human. i mean, that's pretty much the definition of the word misogyny. i'm not trying to spin something a different way or not but, like, that's as close to a definition as you're going to get.

even when you're a female courier i'm pretty sure they call you an "independent contractor" and they bar you from fighting in the arena.
