the troubleshooting thing always says it cant find any problems

Try updating your network adapter from the device manager. If that doesn't work shove your current one up your ass and buy a new one

^^

i remember shutting off an option called "allow computer to shut off this device to save power" but i just went into device manager and there were two things for network adapters, and one still had that option enabled. hopefully i just fixed it.

gonna keep this topic unlocked just in case it isnt fixed i guess, or if somebody has another solution

Unless a driver or device is faulty, it shouldn't crash (at least persistently) no matter what options you have selected for your adapter imo

It could be shutting it off like he just said above you. No one can say if its a crash or not.

Oh I thought all his time he meant that it just caused his computer to shut off, lol

The option you're talking about only happens when the adapter is idle, though?

Computers adjust to their users, you're an ass.
