Author Topic: possible malware in puush update  (Read 4607 times)

avast automatically removed puush.daemon for me, but i'll run a virus and a malware scan just to be safe. i've closed the program for now

oh
I turned it off yesterday since it wasn't working and I've been using imgur since
lucky me

i cant do anything to it because avast is useless and it wont let me delete it

nvm i ended the task and then i could delete it

i can't find the virus :C

wow forget puush, I probably have it now. Running a scan as we speak

Lightshot for lifeshot.

also, the puush folder in %appdata% is also infected so be sure to delete that too

Guys here is a tip, if your going to remove the virus, please do it in safemode to make sure it is all gone, you will also most likely want to run roguekiller and adwcleaner as well, Malwarebytes will help but I recommend you guys use Roquekilller and adwcleaner.

Don't think I'm allowed to post links considering they are both .exes.
