i typically always try and give the same attention to punctuation since it helps readability and flow, but i won't always be exact in capitalisation and the sort depending on the intended tone of the post
speaking in a more casual sense in a casual environment with exacting grammar can come off as too pretentious at times, so i often forego proper case to help take the unintended edge off the words. in a more professional and maybe even "preachy" case, i'll be more proper and formal.
basically keep it casual and non-pretentious unless the situation calls for other measures!!
i go out of my way to make sure my phone doesn't correct caps because it's important that it's consistent. it's intentional and imperative to properly delineate the intended tone in an environment where voice and body are unavailable to do so
